Editorial policy
What we publish
Recipes, food lists and grocery guides for men who want to eat well with prostate health in mind. Guides open with a short answer and list their sources at the end.
Sources we use
USDA FoodData Central and MyPlate, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, NIH and National Cancer Institute resources, and peer-reviewed research found through PubMed. We do not use testimonials or brand marketing as evidence.
No health claims
We don't say any food, recipe, diet or product treats, cures, prevents or reverses a prostate condition or any other disease, or "detoxes" the body. Where popular claims aren't supported by research, we say so.
Recipes
Recipes are developed by the ProstateFoods team from standard techniques and measurements. They are not kitchen-tested, and we don't describe them as tested. Star ratings, when shown, come only from readers of this site. Nutrition figures, when shown, are estimates and say where they came from.
Who writes it
Articles are researched and written by the ProstateFoods editorial team, with AI tools used for drafting and research support. A person edits each page before it goes live. No doctor or dietitian reviews our pages, so nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your doctor before changing how you eat, especially if you take medication or have a health condition.
